At Alamogordo Public Schools, we know that being present every day is key to student success. To build on Be Here Day's momentum, we’re excited to launch our Lucky to Be Here initiative for the month of March.
Students across the district will participate in fun activities designed to celebrate and encourage great attendance. Elementary classrooms will track attendance with special posters and gold star stickers, while secondary students can participate in an Attendance BINGO game. Schools may also offer exciting incentives, from certificates of recognition to fun classroom rewards!
We understand that sometimes students are unwell and need to stay home, but when they are healthy, we want to see them in school, engaged and learning. Thank you for your support in helping us build a strong culture of attendance!
